Adelaide University, Australia, offers students from all over the world fully funded scholarships. A fully funded graduate scholarship program aims to attract scholars and students with outstanding academic achievements. Foreign students are expected to continue and complete their studies at a high level by enrolling in a master’s degree in science and doctoral degrees at the University of Adelaide. The scholarship program is designed for the 2019/2020 academic year.
A fully funded scholarship for graduates includes a full waiver of tuition, living allowance, and international student health insurance (OSHC). Rewards are available throughout the curriculum. To be eligible to apply, applicants must at least have the equivalent of an Australian first-class honors degree. Scholarship grants are based solely on merit and will be awarded on the basis of academic achievements and the obvious research potential of applicants.

Scholarships will be awarded for academic merit and research potential. Extracurricular achievements do not count.
International applicants must not have a scientific qualification recognized by the University of Adelaide equivalent to an Australian doctoral degree, or, if they receive a master’s degree, not have a scientific qualification recognized by the University of Adelaide equivalent or exceeding the Australian research master’s degree.
International applicants who have not submitted evidence of compliance with the minimum English proficiency requirements for direct admission at the scholarship end date or who completed the English program before admission in accordance with the requirements for admission to the proposed study program are not eligible.
Those who conduct research using remote candidates are not eligible.
Candidates must enter the University of Adelaide as “foreign students” and must maintain the status of “foreign students” for the duration of their admission to the University.
Applicants who apply for Australian residency status can apply for a fully-funded alumni scholarship. International applicants are not eligible if they have already started the degree for which they are seeking a reward if they cannot prove that they could not apply in the previous round.
Scholarship holders must begin their studies at the University of Adelaide in the semester in which the scholarship is offered.
Candidates who apply and qualify for the international scholarship round and fail will be automatically re-evaluated in the next international scholarship round, provided they have a valid proposal for this appointment. An applicant who has been reviewed in 2 rounds cannot be reviewed in any future scholarship rounds.
The scholarship offer depends on whether the student will be offered another award by the Commonwealth of Australia, the University of Adelaide or a foreign sponsor.
The University reserves the right to withdraw the scholarship offer at any time prior to enrollment if it is reported that a scholarship has been offered to the recipient equal to or higher than the financial cost of the fully funded scholarships for graduates offered by the University.
